About Zach
Zach LeVay lives to cook. Zach grew up in a household serious about food. Every Friday night, he and his family reflected on the week. Baking with his Mom, watching hours of Top Chef, and experimenting with different flavors informed Zach’s love for cooking.
Zach has created 3 different supper club concepts: Tutti’s, Allium, and The Third Place. Zach co-created Tutti’s with his friend Alex Athanasiou, while in Bloomington, IN where he earned his MBA from Indiana University, and became a Certified Public Accountant. Tutti’s provided a unique gathering place for IU students to spend Saturday nights. Zach and Alex served 5-course tasting menus at a reasonable price, inspired by Italian and midwest flavors to groups of 10-12.
After graduating, Zach started Allium in Chicago. Allium hosted groups of 4-6 serving tasting menus of 6-8 courses. Zach’s style was elevated as he served smaller groups and had access to Chicago’s markets and butchers.
Zach now works on The Third Place, which serves groups of 6-11. Having over 6 years of experience allows Zach to express all he has learned from these past experiences. Zach is helped by Natalie Jacobi, Omar Gonzalez, and Max Schnierow.
Zach has also worked with Chef Joe Sasto, Chef Charles Webb, Little Poutine, a supper club based in Brooklyn, NY, and Outstanding in the Field.
In the meantime, Zach is an accountant for Lettuce Entertain You, Chicago’s best and largest hospitality group.
